Congratulations, Eva! ...
We had great pleasure in presenting Eva Salisch of Halliwick Penguins Swimming Club with an award for distinguished service to Halliwick.
Eva has been a member of Halliwick Penguins Swimming Club since the mid-1980s and, for most of the years since, has chaired the club’s competitions committee, organising its swimming competitions, whether within the club or between clubs, locally, regionally and nationally. Eva has always supported swimmers in the club to enter into swimming competitions and achieve their very best.
Thank you, Eva, for all you have done and will continue to do in your club for swimmers. It is not only appreciated by us, but also, we know, by everyone in your club that you have supported and guided over many years.
It is with sorrow that we regret to advise that since awarding the Distinguished Service Award to Eva Salisch in August 2020, Eva has passed away. Eva passed away peacefully on 19/01/2021.
Eva did so much for her club and for Halliwick, and she will be greatly missed.
We extend our very sincere condolences to her family and friends, of which there were many.
