Congratulations to Glyn Harris of Rhondda Polar Bears Disabled Swimming Club, who has been awarded our certificate of distinguished service as a token of our thanks for all that he has done for his local Halliwick club over many years.

Glyn has been with his club since it began in 1975 and has helped and supported swimmers every week, particularly helping them with technique and gala training. He still continues doing just that.

Whilst just a token of appreciation, we know that that appreciation is not only from us in Halliwick AST, but also from all at Rhondda Polar Bears Disabled Swimming Club.

Glyn and people like him make clubs what they are, ensuring that disabled people can enjoy activity and freedom in the water which they would not otherwise be able to.
