We realise that with the advent of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) which comes into force on 25th May 2018 and which will run alongside existing UK legislation on data protection (currently including the Data Protection Act 1998), clubs and regions are rightly concerned about how to manage their obligations as far as data protection is concerned.
Following our successful Halliwick event on 12th May 2018 at which a presentation on data protection and what it means for Halliwick clubs was given, we have put together some guidance for Halliwick clubs, designed to help clubs meet their data protection obligations.
