Fran Coombs Awarded with Certificate of Distinguished Service
Many congratulations to Fran Coombs, who has been awarded with a Certificate of Distinguished Service.
Fran is a loyal member of Rhondda Polar Bears DSC and has been for many years, taking the time to undertake many of Halliwick instructor training courses to enable her give the best possible instruction she can to the club’s swimmers. Fran also regularly attends regional refresher courses, and is always happy to learn about any training developments.
At club sessions and otherwise, Fran gives her time freely, and swimmers enjoy the uniqueness that Fran brings to club sessions, including a sense of humour and kindness towards club members who may be anxious. Fran also helps with extra activities such as swimming galas and club excursions.
It is clear that Fran is hardworking and truly believes in the ethos of the Halliwick Concept.
